Cheering Fans Caused an Earthquake
Nissan sponsored the Mexican National Soccer Team during a US five-city tour. To close out the tour, we needed an epic halftime show. So we created The Fanquake, the first-ever fan-made earthquake that set off a Nissan powered seismograph. We teased the event on social media days before the game and engaged fans during a pre-game brand activation. There, fans played Nissan tech-inspired games, met Mexican team players, and interacted with the Nissan brand.
